Separating from a partner is one of the most stressful events you can go through in life.  It can leave you feeling utterly lost, especially with children, housing and finances to arrange.  These feelings are compounded when abuse is present. 

 

Post Separation Abuse is underrated, under the radar; and can leave victims feeling totally overwhelmed.  Sadly, ending the relationship, doesn't end the abuse.  An ex partner often uses child arrangements, maintenance, family court, and the division of assets to continue perpetrating control.

From experience, I've come to realise there is no single agency that holistically supports victims across all areas of this very real struggle.
